How to import your console games with Exophase
Steam covers your PC and nothing else. Exophase is the only route for your PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Epic and a dozen more stores, with the trophy you earned in each one. If you play on console, this is the page you were looking for.
You need the browser extension
Exophase has no export of its own, so the file is produced by the JoyHob Sync extension, available for Chrome and Firefox. It is one extra step before you start, and it is what makes the rest possible.
Four steps
- Have your accounts on ExophaseExophase gathers your PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Epic and other store achievements into one profile. If you do not use it yet, connect your accounts there first.
- Install JoyHob SyncThe extension is on the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons. Both links are on the JoyHob import screen itself.
- Generate your fileWith the extension installed, open your Exophase profile and let it collect your games. It hands you a JSON file.
- Import itIn JoyHob, Import content, pick Exophase and drop that file. You review every match before anything is saved.
What comes across
- Your games from every platform you have connected, not just one.
- Your hours played, into the same field you would fill in by hand.
- The trophy for each game: platinum at 100% of achievements, gold otherwise.
What to expect from matching
- Every game is searched by name. Exophase does not know the ids of the game catalogue JoyHob uses, so there is no exact match here like there is with Steam: anything uncertain goes to the review screen, where you confirm or dismiss it.
- That makes the review longer than with other sources. It is the price of being the only route that exists for console gaming.
About the file
The file is produced by the extension in your own browser from your public Exophase profile, and you decide when and where to drop it. If you want to see what it contains first, the JoyHob inspector tells you without uploading it anywhere and without an account.
While you are here
Exophase for console plus Steam for PC covers everything you play. And the same library holds your films, shows and books: there are fourteen platforms you can import from.
